New user here. I'm hoping I chose the correct location to post this. Here's my issue: I was sighting in the scope today and noticed I was having some ghosting issues when performing the NUC. After getting everything done, I was checking the scope out at night to see if the ghosting continued. Unfortunately, the ghosting is still happening. The ghost image will occur when either starting the unit up or performing the NUC IF there is anything in the field of view that has a temperature difference. So, steps I've taken so far are 1) Updated firmware per instructions from ATN 2) Multiple power cycles on and off obviously 3) Attached the external power supply that's directly from ATN itself just in case the battery has started to fail. Currently, the only work around I've found is to drape a microfiber cloth over the end of the scope so there is a uniform temperature that provides no possible image to leave on the screen. Once I do that, the scope has a wonderfully clear image. This just started today after sighting it in. I took a screen shot to see if it was the screen itself or something else. Hopefully the attached image can be seen. Just wondering if anybody else has any idea what may be happening or have any other ideas. I sent an e-mail to ATN, but it'll be a few days before I hear back I'm assuming.
2019chevy: I am a new owner of a X-Sight 4Kpro 5x20, although reading many negative reviews. I have the scope setup on 6.5 Grendel upper and been to the range once without reading the manual. Since I've read the manual what little help that was, I'm ready now.
